We’re delighted to announce ‘Opening Shots‘, our first event since launching the magazine. It’s a good ‘un too, featuring readings from three quality poets, a poetry open mic and, in honour of Stonehaven’s culinary triumph over pasty-faced officialdom, a competition for the best ‘Ode to a Deep-Fried Mars Bar’. It’s free to get in, there’ll be free wine on arrival, and you’re free to take your own bevvy too. What more could you ask for?
Our superstar line-up features Eddie Gibbons, our favourite Scouse poet (Patten, Henri and McGough … er, sorry lads), a Scottish debut for the multi-award winning Martin Malone, and the brilliant (& also award winning) Stuart A Paterson.
Catch them all, as well as your delightful PR editors, at the Red Room (thankfully not as Twin Peaks-ish at is sounds) in Stonehaven Community Centre, Friday 24th July, from 7.30pm onwards.
